“Deconstructing Supper” showing at Sustainable Tucson Meeting
The GMO Free Project of Tucson will be hosting a free showing of “Deconstructing Supper,” a 48-minute film that follows a leading chef who investigates food safety in the age of GMOs and industrial agriculture, and will briefly talk about how to participate in October Non-GMO Month. This event, which is free and open to the public, will take place at the monthly meeting of Sustainable Tucson.
Location: Joel D. Valdez Main Library, Pima County Public Library. Entrance to the right of the main door. Free Parking on street after 5pm.

Dr. Miriam Weber is a naturopathic doctor and a licensed acupuncturist with a medical practice in Tucson. She is the coordinator for the Organic Consumers Association’s Truth-In-Labeling Campaign for Arizona’s 7th District, a campaign that is working to bring about the mandatory labeling of genetically modified foods in our food supply so that consumers will have a choice whether to eat or not eat GMOs.

Sally Erroa is a food enthusiast and professionally trained chef who cares deeply about the safety and diversity of our food supply. She is a founding member of the GMO Free Project of Tucson and a former Organic Produce Manager and current employee of New Life Health Center.

Mascha Miedaner is the director and founding member of the GMO Free Project of Tucson. Food is her fun and her passion. She is a current employee of New Life Health Center.
